Print Still Dominates Real Estate Marketing Spend

The vast majority of real estate professionals use print advertising for their real estate marketing. A small advertisement on an interior page of The Real Estate Book runs around $6,000 a year, depending on the market. A quarter page advertisement in Unique Homes is $1,200. The yearly cost is $4,800, and that is for an interior page.
While both of these publications, and many others look great and represent the realtor in a very professional way, print is a medium that is on the decline. The blogosphere on the other hand, is exploding in popularity. 54 million people read blogs in the first quarter of 2005, and that number is doubling every six months. Real Estate Blog Marketing is the most cost effective way to reach an expanding market of internet users.
