Over the last few months blogs, or the practice of blogging has received a lot of media attention. Sites like MySpace and Blogger have raised the awareness of this incredibly effective form of personal publishing. The common perception among non bloggers though, is that blogs are marginal and are only viewed by a small section of techies or computer science geeks.
Not so. According to recent studies, there are over 50 million people in the US who read blogs. That figure doubles every six months. The bogosphere is sixty times bigger now than it was three years ago.  In 2006, it is estimated that US workers will spend the equivalent of 551,000 years reading blogs at work.

If you don’t have a blog, you simply do not have access to this market. Real Estate Marketing professionals¬† are beginning to turn to blogging in increasing numbers, but as always it is the early adopters who will see the greatest return from this publishing revolution.
